Sportsmanship Award

The US Athletic Foundation established the Sportsmanship Award on behalf of the late Bunny LaRoche, the mother of Foundation presidents Nicholas LaRoche and Tricia LaRoche. Bunny was murdered in July 2008 but her memory lives on through the Sportsmanship Award.

The award is given to athletes who show both strong promise and great successes in their sport. But more importantly, the winners embrace the vibrant spirit of Bunny.
